Involve@State Platform
To oversee and aid the university in managing RSO events, rosters, registrations, on-campus financial accounts, etc., MSU uses the Involve@State platform (involve.msu.edu). To help our students, advisers, and other MSU constituents, the RSO Office is working to create a user guide around all things Involve@State in a separate document. Until then, please utilize the links located in the RSO Policy Handbook associated with the topics as they have great information to set you up for success. If you have particular things you would like to see added to the User Guide, email involve@msu.edu.
Every registered student organization is expected to maintain their Involve@State page.
- Rosters: All Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) must maintain an active roster on Involve@State throughout the year (step-by-step).
- Members can also change their Privacy Settings on Involve@State
- Updating Officers
- Document Management
Every registered student organization is expected to utilize their Involve@State page for the following:
- Event Submissions
- Managing their on-campus account
RSOs are also able to manage other parts of the RSO via Involve@State:
- “About” to edit mission, vision, values, contact information, etc.
- “Roster” to edit membership, change all roles except President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Adviser.
- “Events” to submit events on campus
- “News” to make announcements to your RSO or to the full Involve@State Community.
- “Gallery” to add/edit photos and videos to your profile.
- “Documents” to add document files to your profile.
- “Forms” to create and manage forms for your RSO.
- “Elections” to manage elections or voting for your RSO.
- “Finance” to see account number or balances for an on-campus account.
- “Service Hours” to track and manage any service hours the RSO does.
